Job summary

Simmons Foods, Inc. is seeking a Production/Processing Lead to assist the supervisor in meeting production requirements and government standards. You will orientate new team members, monitor line speed, and coordinate with QA, USDA and management to ensure safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Orientate new team members to jobs, dress, safety and sanitation.
• Communicate with team, supervisors, QA and USDA regarding line info.
• Complete written and electronic reports; assist timekeeping.
• Set up equipment for line start-up; monitor belt speed.
• Help meet daily goals; improve morale and implementation of BEST practices.
• Participate in team meetings; reinforce cohesiveness and action plans.
• Understand Simmons operating systems and policies; communicate concerns.
• Perform other duties to support business objectives.
• Handle PPE requirements; copy safety protocols; maintain awareness of PPE.
