Job summary

JGM is seeking a Processing Foreman to lead a crane-served processing bay with advanced CNC drilling, cutting, and plate processing equipment. You will manage a crew, maintain safety standards, and drive continuous improvement in throughput and quality.

Responsibilities include coordinating with the Plant Superintendent, training operators, and implementing lean practices to eliminate waste while meeting fabrication schedules and client expectations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of managerial or supervisory experience in fabrication or processing shop environments.
• Ability to motivate a crew and develop others; strong communication with leadership and operators.
• Knowledge of processing capabilities, systems, and quality requirements; standard work and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a positive, disciplined work environment aligned with JGM's values.
• Communicate processing needs and priorities to leadership.
• Verify output meets specifications and drive first-piece discipline.
• Operate and troubleshoot processing/CNC equipment and lead complex setups.
• Train the team on Tekla/PowerFab software and ensure calibration discipline.
• Plan consumables and schedule preventive maintenance to protect uptime.
• Drive lean initiatives, reduce waste, and lead root-cause corrective actions.
• Coach Operators, standardize best practices, and ensure safety compliance.
• Support production planning with capacity input and updated SOPs.
