Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Archival Studies or related field.
• 2–3 years' archival processing or records management experience.
• Knowledge of arrangement, description, cataloging, and preservation.
• Experience with inventories, metadata, finding aids, or digital records.
• Excellent written communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Receive, evaluate, organize archival materials and historical documents, manuscripts, and records.
• Arrange and describe collections according to established archival standards and procedures.
• Create and maintain finding aids, inventories, catalog records, and collection descriptions.
• Maintain accurate collection databases, metadata, and processing documentation.
• Support digitization projects by preparing materials and verifying digital records.
• Collaborate with library staff, researchers, records managers, and internal stakeholders.
• Retrieve and prepare archival materials for authorized research and reference requests.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow collection access and records management policies.
• Monitor processing schedules and ensure deadlines are met.
• Recommend improvements to archival workflows, cataloging practices, and collection management procedures.
