Job summary

Maersk is seeking a Process Transformation Professional in Charlotte, NC to drive process excellence across Ground Freight. You will assess current processes, design improvements, and support scalable global standards with teams from Operations, Product, Technology, Finance, and Governance.

You will help deliver standardized processes, support automation initiatives, and contribute to continuous improvement with data-driven decisions to enhance customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in process improvement, business transformation, or operational excellence.
• Knowledge of process mapping, process redesign, governance frameworks, and operational controls.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven decision making.
• Experience managing or supporting cross-functional projects and change initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across functions and regions.
• Experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, warehousing, trucking, e-commerce, or operational environments is preferred.
• Lean Six Sigma certification or familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and document current-state processes, workflows, and procedures to identify improvement opportunities.
• Support the design and implementation of future-state processes that improve efficiency, quality, and customer outcomes.
• Partner with business, platform, and operational stakeholders to drive standardization and process optimization initiatives.
• Develop and maintain process maps, SOPs, policies, training materials, and knowledge assets.
• Monitor process performance metrics, identify root causes, and support corrective actions and continuous improvement efforts.
• Support governance activities, risk assessments, audits, and control framework implementation.
• Identify opportunities for automation and digital solutions that reduce manual effort and improve operational consistency.
