Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a business analyst to support a law enforcement agency's process improvement and automation initiatives; you will gather requirements and document them to enable automation development.

A bachelor's degree, 3+ years in analytics or strategy, and the ability to obtain a Public Trust are required; DHS/Homeland Security experience is a plus. This role may require up to 10% travel and offers a comprehensive benefits package.

What You Will Do :

• Serve as a business analyst for a law enforcement agency conducting process improvement initiatives, working to gather and document requirements to help with automation development
• Solve problems by following procedures and have experience in evaluating controls associated with complex business processes
• Conduct research and analysis using different toolsets across MS suite of tools
• Work with clients within the Homeland Security space working to improve processes

What You Will Need :

• Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST"; Candidates with an ACTIVE PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY are preferred.
• Bachelor's degree
• THREE (3) or more years' experience in business analytics, communications, change management, or strategy

• An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED DHS Public Trust
• Experience with law enforcement
• Experience supporting training efforts through the review and updating of curriculum, supporting logistics and planning and overall training program needs.
• Experience leading process improvement and automation efforts to develop new tools/processes in a law enforcement environment.
