Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a business analyst to support a law enforcement agency with process improvement initiatives, requirements gathering, and documentation to aid automation development. You will evaluate controls and document findings while using MS Office tools to support analysis.

Working within the Homeland Security space, you will collaborate with clients to improve critical processes and conduct research across toolsets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 3+ years experience in business analytics, communications, change management, or strategy.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD Public Trust (active public trust preferred).

What You Will Do

• Serve as a business analyst for a law enforcement agency conducting process improvement initiatives, working to gather and document requirements to help with automation development
• Solve problems by following procedures and have experience in evaluating controls associated with complex business processes
• Conduct research and analysis using different toolsets across MS suite of tools
• Work with clients within the Homeland Security space working to improve processes

What You Will Need

• Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST"; Candidates with an ACTIVE PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY are preferred.
• Bachelor's degree THREE (3) or more years' experience in business analytics, communications, change management, or strategy

What Would Be Nice To Have

• An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED DHS Public Trust
• Experience with law enforcement
• Experience supporting training efforts through the review and updating of curriculum, supporting logistics and planning and overall training program needs.
• Experience leading process improvement and automation efforts to develop new tools/processes in a law enforcement environment.
