Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Process Technology Manager for its client, a Process Safety Management chemical plant, to lead Site Engineering, drive CAPEX priorities and deliver reliability improvements.

You will coach production and project engineers, own the capital plan, ensure safety through MOC/PHAs/HAZOPs, and partner on startup and procedures, with regular plant engagement and occasional off-hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in chemical manufacturing, with PSM exposure.
• Strong ability to lead cross-functional engineering teams and manage CAPEX projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead site engineering function at a PSM chemical plant.
• Define and drive annual and multiyear CAPEX priorities.
• Own and execute the site capital plan—develop project scopes, budgets, schedules, and oversee risks and contractors.
• Strengthen process safety through MOC, PHAs/HAZOPs, and start-up safety reviews.
• Drive reliability improvements through root cause analyses and SOPs, training, and startups/shutdowns.
