Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Process Technology Manager for a Process Safety & Chemical Manufacturing client in Memphis, TN. You will lead the site engineering function, drive CAPEX priorities, provide technical direction, and oversee budgets, schedules, risks, and contractors to deliver reliable operations.

You will strengthen process safety through MOC, PHAs/HAZOPs, pre-startup safety reviews, and continuous improvements in yield, energy use, and cost.

Qualifications

Degree in Chemical Engineering or related engineering discipline.
Experience leading engineers or multidisciplinary technical teams in a PSM‑covered facility.
Strong capability in production troubleshooting, CAPEX planning, project execution, MOC, PHAs/HAZOPs, and incident investigation.

Responsibilities

Lead the site engineering function at a Process Safety Management chemical plant, defining and driving CAPEX priorities.
Provide technical direction, organizational support, and coaching to production and project engineers while balancing day-to-day production with long-term improvements.
Own and execute the site capital plan—develop scopes, estimates, business cases, approvals, and oversee budgets, schedules, risks, and contractors.
Strengthen process safety through engineering support for MOC, PHAs/HAZOPs, pre-startup safety reviews, and closure of recommendations.
