Job summary

BridgeValley Community and Technical College seeks a Process Technology Faculty Instructor to deliver high-quality college-level instruction in person, online, or hybrid. You will develop course materials, assess student performance, and support student success while staying current with industry trends.

You will participate in curriculum planning and committees, advise students, and help meet accreditation standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Process Technology, Chemical Technology, or related field; industry credentials may substitute for formal education
Strong planning, communication, supervision, budgeting, and collaboration with partners are essential
Experience with higher education teaching methods and curriculum development
Proficiency with educational technology tools and LMS

Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality instruction in assigned courses across formats (in-person/online/hybrid)
Maintain on-campus office hours for advising and mentoring
Ensure timely publication of syllabi, grades, and required course documentation
Advise, mentor, and recruit students to support enrollment and completion goals
Participate in curriculum development and assessment activities for continuous improvement
Contribute to departmental and institutional committees as needed
