Revere Plastics Systems is an industry-leading custom injection molding company, with over 50 years of experience, and has remained in the top 100 plastic injection molders with presses ranging from 25 to 3,300 tons for 25 years.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB:

To ensure all process parameters and settings are performed according to the process set-up sheets, with a goal of ZERO Defects.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES, TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Maintain a safety-first mindset. Ensure all safety features are functioning, such as drop bars and safety switches.
2. Maximize uptime on all machine centers to reduce and eliminate downtime.
3. Set molds, start up, and troubleshoot injection molding processes.
4. Document all process parameters on the Master Setup Sheets.
5. Ensure process parameters and mold protection settings meet specifications.
6. Make necessary adjustments to prevent part defects.
7. Respond to all quality and operator issues regarding parts and processes.
8. Maintain and improve manufacturing efficiencies.
9. Reduce scrap by eliminating mold conditions using corrective actions and mold maintenance forms.
10. Maintain a neat and clean environment at all times.
11. Identify maintenance concerns/issues and assist with resolution.
12. Participate in mold change activities to reduce downtime and increase throughput.
13. Assist with training Process Technicians and Operators when needed.

Requirements:

• Mold setting experience and capability required.
• Resin knowledge required.
• At least 2 years of injection molding processing experience.
• Good mechanical ability and aptitude are essential.
• Knowledge of 3-Axis programming.
• Willingness to stay current with technology through continuing education.
• Physical ability to stand frequently; use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms.
• Occasional ability to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
• Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally.
