Job summary

V2X is hiring a process tech 4 (2nd shift) to support the Modernization and Sustainment site in Indianapolis, Indiana. The role requires expertise in process execution, troubleshooting, optimization, and compliance within a high-reliability AS9100 environment.

Responsibilities include testing production units, troubleshooting with a wide range of tools, collaborating with Engineering to develop and prove out tests for new designs, and understanding test data feedback.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of reading process routings, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
• Familiarity with DC/AC and RF concepts and testing.
• Experience with electronic components identification and handling.
• Familiarity with IPC standards (IPC-610, IPC-620, IPC-7711, J-STD-001).
• Basic computer skills and data collection for SPC.

Responsibilities

• Follows detailed written and verbal instructions, process routings, wiring diagrams, and production planning documents.
• Operate test stands, test equipment and hand tools for testing.
• Conducts in-process self-checks and prepares assemblies for formal inspection.
• May assist with conformal coating, potting, encapsulating, and other intermediate assembly tasks.
• Maintains a clean and organized work area and follows safety procedures.
