Job summary

V2X Inc in Indianapolis is seeking an Electronics Worker I (2nd shift) to support our Modernization and Sustainment site. The role focuses on PCB assembly, cable harness assembly, and chassis integration, following detailed instructions and IPC standards.

You will perform soldering, wiring, and mechanical assembly, operate production equipment, and assist with intermediate tasks while maintaining safety and quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years of experience in electronic assembly, rework, and repair preferred.
• Must be able to obtain solder certifications and DoD security clearance if required.

Responsibilities

• Follows detailed written and verbal instructions, process routings, wiring diagrams, and production planning documents.
• Performs board and component preparation, soldering (through-hole and surface mount), and touch-up.
• Operates machines for soldering, desoldering, pressing, shaping, winding, and placing components.
• Conducts in-process self-checks and prepares assemblies for formal inspection and testing.
• May assist with conformal coating, potting, encapsulating, and other intermediate assembly tasks.
• Maintains a clean and organized work area and follows safety procedures.
