Everforth Apex is seeking a Process Development Technician in Fremont, CA to support engineers and R&D with experiments, data collection, and equipment maintenance. You will help run tests, document results, and communicate findings to drive process improvements in a fast-paced lab environment.

The role emphasizes collaboration across teams, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining strict safety and quality standards.

Formación

  • Associate degree, technical certification, or equivalent hands-on experience in Engineering, Manufacturing, Chemistry, Materials Science, Electronics, or a related field.
  • Experience documenting technical data and maintaining accurate records.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Strong communication and collaboration across teams.
  • Ability to multitask and manage several projects concurrently.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

  • Support Process Engineers and R&D teams in conducting technical experiments, process evaluations, and product development activities.
  • Set up, operate, monitor, and maintain laboratory and process equipment used for testing and development.
  • Execute test runs and experimental procedures in accordance with engineering protocols and SOPs.
  • Collect, organize, and document process data, observations, and test results with accuracy.
  • Prepare charts, graphs, reports, and summaries to communicate findings and support analysis.
  • Monitor process performance and identify trends or opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide guidance to production line operators during testing and engineering activities.
  • Assist engineers with troubleshooting process issues and implementing corrective actions.
  • Maintain laboratory organization, inventory, and equipment readiness.
  • Support multiple engineers and projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures.

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and hands-on Process Development Technician to support process engineering and research & development (R&D) activities in a dynamic laboratory environment. This individual will work closely with engineers to execute technical experiments, operate and maintain processing equipment, collect and analyze data, and support the development of new products and manufacturing processes.

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who thrives in a fast-paced setting, can successfully manage multiple priorities, and enjoys working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive engineering and process improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Process Engineers and R&D teams in conducting technical experiments, process evaluations, and product development activities.
  • Set up, operate, monitor, and maintain laboratory and process equipment used for testing and development.
  • Execute test runs and experimental procedures in accordance with engineering protocols and standard operating procedures.
  • Collect, organize, and document process data, observations, and test results with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Prepare charts, graphs, reports, and summaries to communicate experimental findings and support engineering analysis.
  • Monitor process performance and identify trends, abnormalities, or opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide guidance and support to production line operators during testing and engineering activities.
  • Assist engineers with troubleshooting process issues, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective actions.
  • Maintain laboratory organization, inventory, and equipment readiness to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Support multiple engineers and projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and shifting priorities.
  • Follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures within the laboratory and manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
  • Associate degree, technical certification, or equivalent hands‑on experience in Engineering, Manufacturing, Chemistry, Materials Science, Electronics, or a related technical field.
  • Previous laboratory, manufacturing, engineering technician, or process development experience.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Ability to multitask and manage several projects or assignments concurrently.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience documenting technical data and maintaining accurate records.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting R&D, process development, or new product introduction activities.
  • Familiarity with data collection, analysis, and technical reporting.
  • Experience operating laboratory, manufacturing, or process equipment.
  • Understanding of process improvement methodologies and problem‑solving techniques.
  • Experience working in a regulated manufacturing or engineering environment.
