Job summary

Leonardo DRS in Dallas, TX is seeking a Process Technician to support the Focal Plane Array team. You will help provide engineering technical support to Manufacturing and contribute to process improvement in a cleanroom environment.

The role requires an Associate’s degree or equivalent, experience with semiconductor processing, high vacuum equipment, and safety with chemicals. Candidates should be proficient with Access, Excel, and LabVIEW and able to work with precision in a regulated setting.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience in the field or in a related area.
  • Manufacturing process and equipment troubleshooting experience.
  • Experienced handling small delicate components, using ESD practices.
  • Previous experience in semiconductor processing.
  • Previous experience with high vacuum equipment utilized in etching and deposition.
  • Must be experienced in the safe handling of chemicals.
  • Experienced in the use of various computer applications, including Access, Excel, and LabVIEW.
  • Experience with MRP a plus.
  • Must have good mechanical skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide engineering technical support to Manufacturing personnel and processes.
  • Evaluate non-conforming material for disposition using various measurement instruments (thickness, flatness, surface finish, etc) and visual observations
  • Able to work in class 100 cleanroom environment.
  • Recognize, communicate, and respond to process deviations and help identify root cause and corrective actions.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and evaluate possible solutions.
  • Process material for engineering tests using various semiconductor process equipment.
  • Create, edit, and review process recipes on process equipment.
  • Interpret Process Flow Instructions and other written or verbal instructions

Job Summary

DRS Infrared Sensors and Systems in Dallas is looking to add a new member to our Focal Plane Array team to help provide the vision and technical expertise necessary to drive our development and improvement activities needed to lead the industry in product capability and manufacturability.

U.S. Citizenship required. This position requires an active DOD security clearance or the ability to obtain such clearance within a reasonable time after commencement of employment.
