Job summary

SAIC is seeking a Process Systems Engineer to join the Air Operations Center Weapons System Falconer Program. The role focuses on engineering lifecycle management, business process re-engineering, and translating stakeholder requirements.

You will drive optimization, continuous improvement, and systems thinking across enterprise programs. The ideal candidate has systems engineering experience, knowledge of data integrity, and the ability to interact face-to-face with customers and contractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Engineering with 3–5+ years of experience; Master's adds 1–3 years.
• Active Secret Clearance.
• Strong understanding of systems engineering lifecycles and Lean/Six Sigma.
• Proven ability to evaluate complex, multi-tiered environments for process improvements.
• Experience developing SOPs, process playbooks, and training documentation.

Responsibilities

• Review, analyze and recommend solutions to Government requirements and design documentation.
• Provide SE services to manage PLMT or other lifecycle tools used in design, integration and testing.
• Ensure tools used in designing, developing, integrating or testing baseline releases are integrated with PLMT.
• Leverage Lean/Six Sigma and systems-thinking to bridge business operations and technical capabilities.
• Represent the program at meetings with Government and associate contractors.
• Interface with software developers to translate SE requirements for implementation.
