Job summary

Saicon is seeking a Specialist, Quality Engineer to support aerospace hardware projects. You will guide, coach, and train teams, ensuring compliance with specifications and quality requirements while driving continuous improvement across manufacturing processes.

In this role you will interpret drawings, manage nonconformances, and coordinate MRB dispositions, collaborating with Project and Manufacturing Engineering on test/inspection plans and reports.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree required with 4+ years of related experience.
  • Graduate Degree or equivalent with 2+ years of related experience.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate between team members and customer counterparts to ensure hardware compliance.
  • Apply Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma tools to drive improvements in processes.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and customer/quality requirements to ensure compliance.
  • Lead containment and corrective actions for day-to-day quality concerns and nonconformances.
