Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a motivated engineer to support daily manufacturing operations and live production activities. The role emphasizes collaboration with cross-functional teams and hands-on process improvements to enhance efficiency and product quality.

The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor's degree and 1–3 years of experience, with strong CAD skills and familiarity with Lean Six Sigma and ISO/IATF quality frameworks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 1–3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience coordinating and managing projects.
• Proficiency with CAD software and engineering design tools.
• Experience with manufacturing systems and process improvement methodologies.
• Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma tools and techniques (process mapping, root cause analysis, 8D, A3, 5 Why, Fishbone, DOE, capability studies).
• Experience with ISO and IATF quality management systems (control plans, PFMEAs).
• Manufacturing experience in a production environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for daily manufacturing operations and live production activities.
• Partner with supervisors, operators, and maintenance to ensure efficient and reliable operations.
• Support tooling selection and validation activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production challenges to improve performance.
• Develop, document, and execute process improvement projects.
• Identify opportunities to increase production efficiency and reduce cost variances.
