Job summary

Torrey Holistics on the Cleveland production floor seeks a go-to troubleshooter for equipment and process issues, including process control systems. You’ll apply SPC to boost batch quality and consistency while aligning maintenance and contractors to implement fixes.

You’ll lead small capital projects, coordinate with vendors and in-house teams, and reimagine layouts to improve safety, throughput, and efficiency.

Qualifications

  • B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology (ABET accredited).
  • Track record in project management and implementing multi-department process improvements.
  • Analytical problem-solver with emerging leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Be the go-to troubleshooter for equipment and process issues, including process control systems.
  • Use statistical process control to enhance batch quality and consistency.
  • Lead and facilitate efficiency initiatives—owning them through to verified, realized benefits.
  • Grow through hands-on involvement in small-scale capital projects.
  • Collaborate with vendors to set specifications, evaluate against standards, and procure the right solutions.
  • Coordinate with in-house maintenance and external contractors to execute repairs and improvements.
  • Reimagine layouts by analyzing space and workflow to optimize safety, efficiency, and throughput.
