Job summary

Sotera Health is seeking a Process Supervisor to ensure maximum equipment utilization and to oversee scheduling and processing across multiple shifts. You will supervise Shift Supervisors, Operators and Material Handlers, ensuring operations meet regulatory and company standards.

Reporting to the General Manager or Operations Manager, this role requires coordinating with maintenance, ensuring calibration, and maintaining thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Five years’ experience in a production environment with two years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Must be able to read, write and speak fluent English.
• Must be willing to work established shifts.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
• Must be willing to carry a pager and be available 24/7 in the event of an emergency.

Responsibilities

• Ensures that all product runs are scheduled and run to customer turn-time and quality requirements.
• Maintains proper segregation of processed vs non-processed product.
• Coordinates downtime for preventative maintenance with the Maintenance Department.
• Reviews and approves final processing data to ensure compliance with customer specifications.
• Verifies instrumentation calibration prior to use.
• Prepares month-end reports detailing system performance.
• Provides direction and support for the Shift Supervisor and staff.
• Maintains documentation and adherence to requirements including physical counts, product segregation, palletizing, special handling, damage reports and company procedures.
• Reviews and approves weekly payroll hours.
• Responsible for training all operations employees.
• Assists with other tasks and special projects as assigned.
