Under the direction of the Plant Manager, has responsibility for providing support to production operations. Assists to maximize process efficiencies, troubleshoots equipment and formulary issues, provides corrective action. Recommends process improvements to resolve production complications and day-to-day activities.
Monitors machine efficiencies by reviewing downtime, scrap, and provides suggestions and methods to improve results. Establishes process guides for use by production. Identifies process deficiencies, identifies root causes , and takes corrective actions to remedy problems. Ensures process achieves desired product specifications. Works in conjunction with maintenance and quality to ensure specifications are within tolerances.
Requires associate’s degree and at least 3-4 years of experience in plastics processing or in a related area.
