Job summary

ProVest, one of the nation's largest legal support services firms, is seeking Private Process Servers (1099 Independent Contractors) to serve legal documents in West Virginia, with preference for residents near Clay County.

Applicants must reside in West Virginia, preferably near Clay County, and be prepared to complete multiple service attempts per assignment, document GPS photos, and coordinate with courthouses.

Qualifications

• WV residency preferred (near Clay County)
• Complete 3 to 5 service attempts per assignment
• Document each service with GPS-enabled photos via ProVest app
• Visit local courthouses to pick up and email documents when requested
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and auto insurance
• Access to computer, printer, scanner, and email
• Flexible availability including mornings, evenings, and weekends
• Comfortable using mobile apps for documentation and reporting

Responsibilities

• Serve legal documents within assigned areas
• Manage assignments using ProVest's mobile apps (PVLS & PSO Mobile)
• Document all service attempts with GPS-stamped photos
• Complete required service attempts per client guidelines
• Return completed documents and reports accurately and on time
• Plan routes and manage your own schedule
• Maintain a professional and courteous approach at all times

Requirements

• West Virginia residency (near listed county preferred)
• Complete 3 to 5 service attempts per assignments.
• All attempts must be completed on different days and properly documented through the ProVest mobile app with GPS-enabled photographs
• Willingness and ability to visit local courthouses to pick up filed documents and email them back to ProVest when requested
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and auto insurance
• Access to a computer, printer, scanner, and email
• Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, and weekends
• Comfortable using mobile apps for documentation and reporting
