Job summary

OC2 Occidental Chemical Corporation is seeking a seasoned Process Safety and Risk Management Lead to oversee PSM, RMP, and Responsible Care programs across manufacturing sites. You will coordinate hazard analyses, risk assessments, regulatory compliance, and incident investigations, driving safety excellence.

Travel up to 30% is required. The role requires a Bachelor's in Chemical Engineering and 10+ years in process/maintenance/project engineering with strong communication and leadership skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering (or related).
• 10+ years in plant process, maintenance, or project engineering roles.

Responsibilities

• Lead Process Safety Management (PSM) and Risk Management Plan (RMP) programs.
• Oversee hazard analyses (HAZOP/LOPA) and risk assessments (QRA/BRA).
• Ensure regulatory compliance and safety program effectiveness across sites.
• Coordinate process risk engineering reviews for capital projects and incidents.
• Provide training on process risk topics (MOC, incident investigation, change management).
