Qualifications

Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.
Concurrent enrollment in a Bachelor's program during internship.
Strong academic performance.
On-site commitment of 40 hours per week.
Able to safely ascend/descend stairs and lift up to 50 pounds.
Valid driver's license for work-related travel.
Reliable transportation to the work site.
US work authorization without sponsorship.
Available for multiple work terms preferred.
Hourly pay range of $34.15–$43.23.

Responsibilities

Lead process safety programs to ensure regulatory compliance with all elements of Process Safety Management (PSM)/Risk Management Plan (RMP).
Conduct, facilitate, and/or coordinate process safety hazard risk identification and mitigation activities.
Interact with Operations, Maintenance and Engineering personnel to resolve process safety issues and instill a safety culture.
Lead/participate in incident investigations, root cause analyses and reporting.
Conduct and/or validate process safety leak calculations and categorization; track metrics.
Lead conformance and compliance audits and assurance activities for process safety.
