Qualifications
Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.
Concurrent enrollment in a Bachelor's degree seeking program for the duration of the internship experience.
Strong academic performance.
Available to work on site 40 hours per week.
Must be able to safely ascend/descend stairs and ladders, and lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
Valid driver's license for work-related travel.
Must be able to provide reliable transportation to and from place of work.
Authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future.
Available for multiple work terms is preferred.
MIN - $34.15 per hour / MAX - $43.23 per hour
Responsibilities
Lead process safety programs to ensure regulatory compliance with PSM/RMP and standards.
Coordinate hazard risk identification and mitigation activities (PHAs, LOPA, MOC).
Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance and Engineering to address process safety issues.
Lead/participate in incident investigations and root cause analyses.
Develop and communicate process safety metrics and trends.
Coordinate conformance audits and regulatory inspections.
