Job summary

Marathon Petroleum Corporation offers process safety internships/co-ops for students in Findlay, Ohio. You will work side-by-side with experienced professionals to lead process safety programs and support risk analyses across refining, logistics, and midstream services.

Applicants must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, be enrolled concurrently for the duration of the internship, and be able to work on site 40 hours per week.

• Candidates must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.
• Concurrent enrollment in a Bachelor's degree seeking program for the duration of the internship experience.
• Strong academic performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead process safety programs to ensure regulatory compliance with all elements of Process Safety Management (PSM)/Risk Management Plan (RMP).
• Advise on interpretation and application of internal and external standards (RAGAGEP).
• Maintain and improve local process safety standards/plans.
