Job summary

Conagra Brands is seeking an EHS Specialist to support safety and environmental initiatives in our manufacturing facility. You will focus on process safety management, environmental training and tracking, policy adherence, and driving continuous improvement through audits and incident follow-up.

Responsibilities include leading Flammable Process Safety Management initiatives, monitoring waste streams, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations.

Qualifications

• BS/BA preferred in Environment, Health & Safety or related discipline (experience may replace education).
• 2+ years of safety experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of Process Safety Management elements and risk-management techniques.
• Familiarity with environmental regulations and their impact on the food industry.

Responsibilities

• Aid in safety and environmental aspects in the facility, with focus on process safety management, environmental training and tracking, policy adherence, audits and incident follow-up.
• Lead implementation for Flammable Process Safety Management, monitor recycling waste streams and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Provide expertise to share best practices on compliance, water/energy use, waste minimization and wastewater treatment.
• Support Plant Sustainable Development and participate in the sustainability committee; report to the EHS Manager.
