Job summary

INEOS Olefins & Polymers USA, LLC is seeking a Process Safety Engineer to lead the site process safety agenda, strengthen PSM, risk management and regulatory compliance. The role works across manufacturing, engineering, maintenance, operations and SHE functions to protect people, the environment, and site assets from process safety risks.

The position serves as the site SME and technical authority for process safety practices, tools and systems, driving sustainable improvement and incident

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field required.
• Minimum of five years of Process Safety Management-related experience and plant work experience.
• Experience in petrochemical, chemical manufacturing and/or oil and gas industries.
• Direct experience supporting or leading Process Safety Management programs and PSM elements.
• Demonstrated experience leading or supporting HAZOP, LOPA, PHA and other risk assessment activities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the site SME for process safety and ensure consistent application of requirements.
• Develop and sustain site process safety policies, procedures and improvement plans.
• Lead process safety compliance audits and site reviews with tracking and closure of findings.
• Monitor KPIs for PSM elements, system health and regulatory compliance.
• Provide risk visibility and recommendations to Site Leadership Team.
• Facilitate the site Process Safety Committee and drive employee engagement.
• Lead or support investigations and development of lessons learned and preventive actions.
• Coordinate training and mentorship to build site process safety capability.
