Job summary

INEOS Olefins & Polymers USA invites a Process Safety Engineer to join the Chocolate Bayou site in Alvin, TX. The role focuses on OSHA PSM and EPA RMP compliance, risk management, and continuous improvement of site practices and corporate systems.

The engineer will guide PHA/LOPA studies, MOC and PSSR processes, and foster collaboration with PSIM advisors and other facilities to safeguard people, environment, assets and operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Environmental, Mechanical or equivalent engineering is required.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Petrochemical Industry and/or Manufacturing with PSIM delivery.
• Experience facilitating PHA/LOPAs and Management of Change sessions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and maintain PHA/LOPA studies and related risk assessments.
• Provide oversight for MOC and PSSR requirements and KPI reporting.
• Support site and multiple facilities with PSIM programs and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor staff and drive continuous improvement in process safety practices.
