Job summary

Huntsman in Conroe, Texas is seeking a Process Safety Engineer to support the Manufacturing function. You will help maintain Process Safety Information (PSI), support Management of Change (MOC) documentation, and assist with process safety compliance activities with cross-functional teams.

You will collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and EHS to keep PSI accurate, lead PHA/LOPA studies, coordinate audits, and help drive continuous improvement aligned with OSHA PSM requirements.

Qualifications

• BS in Chemical Engineering with 1+ year of process safety experience
• MS in Chemical Engineering with 1+ year of related experience
• Right to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Maintain PSI and document control systems.
• Coordinate and support MOC activities and documentation.
• Assist with IPL verification and safeguard documentation.
• Support PHA, LOPA, and risk assessments.
• Coordinate process safety audits, track corrective actions.
• Serve as SME for facility siting activities.
• Support CAPEX projects with MOC, IPL, and process safety guidance.
• Manage weekly incident classifications and records.
• Support Tier Process Safety KPI reporting and improvement.
• Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and EHS to ensure OSHA PSM compliance.
