Job summary

Strategic Storage Partners, LLC is seeking an experienced Process Safety Engineer to lead the PSM/PHA program and ensure OSHA compliance across crude oil storage operations. You will conduct PHAs/HAZOPs, analyze design changes, and coordinate with sites to mitigate risks.

The role requires strong communication, team leadership, and hands-on experience with process safety methodologies, siting studies, and risk assessments. Some travel to operations sites will be needed.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or technical field.
• Minimum 5 years in chemical/petroleum process safety with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.119.
• Hands-on experience facilitating PSM activities (PHAs/HAZOPs).

Responsibilities

• Administer PSM/PHA program and ensure OSHA compliance.
• Facilitate PHA studies and document findings.
• Support MOC/PSSR processes and perform technical safety analyses.
• Review drawings, equipment specs, and process safety information.
