Job summary

ONEOK, Inc. is seeking an experienced process safety engineer to advance its risk management across pipelines and facilities. You will apply engineering principles, evaluate hazards, and support risk-reduction initiatives with limited supervision.

Location is flexible within ONEOK's footprint. The role requires seven or more years in engineering, operations or project management, experience with PHAs/LOPAs, and strong knowledge of OSHA PSM and related standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or closely related field.
• Seven or more years of engineering, operations and/or project management experience.
• Experience with PHAs, LO-PA s, and risk assessments.
• Experience with pipelines or hydrocarbon processing facilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced engineering support for process safety programs and risk-reduction initiatives across ONEOK operating assets.
• Perform engineering analyses related to process hazards, loss of containment, relief and flare systems, hydraulics, equipment and piping design, and other process safety concerns.
• Support PHAs, LO-PAs, hazard reviews, and other risk assessments; evaluate safeguards and develop technically sound recommendations.
• Provide engineering support for MOC, PSSR, process safety information, mechanical integrity, and related process safety activities.
• Interpret and apply OSHA PSM, EPA RMP, OMS policies and procedures and other regulations and standards.
