Job summary

ONEOK, Inc. seeks an experienced Process Safety Engineer to support the company’s process safety program across its assets. The role involves evaluating risk, applying regulatory requirements, and guiding risk-reduction initiatives with operations and projects.

Location is flexible within ONEOK's footprint. The ideal candidate has a strong background in process safety, engineering analysis, and MOC/PSSR processes, with 7+ years in related roles and expertise in pipelines or hydrocarbon

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or closely related field.
7+ years of engineering, operations and/or project management experience.
Experience with pipelines or hydrocarbon processing and related facilities design, construction, operation, and maintenance.
Experience using MS Office suite for reports and data analysis.

Responsibilities

Provide advanced engineering support for process safety programs and risk-reduction initiatives across ONEOK operating assets.
Perform and review engineering analyses related to process hazards, relief and flare systems, hydraulics, and piping design.
Support PHAs, LOPAs, hazard reviews, and other risk assessments; evaluate safeguards and recommend actions.
Coordinate MOC, PSSR, process safety information, mechanical integrity, and related activities with stakeholders.
Develop and improve process safety standards, tools, and templates for consistency across the organization.
Lead or participate in process safety projects from scope development to startup and stakeholder communication.
