Job summary

Conagra Brands is seeking an EHS Specialist to support safety, environmental programs, and sustainability initiatives at the Henning, TN facility. The role emphasizes process safety management, training, audit tracking, and incident follow-up as part of our EHS team.

You will work with cross-functional departments to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations, while contributing to plant sustainability efforts and performance metrics.

Qualifications

• BS/BA with a preference for Environment, Health & Safety or related discipline (Experience will be considered in lieu of education)
• Strong knowledge of Process Safety Management elements
• 2+ years of increasing safety experience in a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge and practical application of risk-management techniques
• Knowledgeable in environmental regulations and their impact on the food industry.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation effort for Flammable Process Safety Management
• Logistics and monitoring of the recycling waste streams
• Complete Ongoing Environmental and Safety Inspections
• Perform EHS Management system checks and compliance inspections
• Ensure the plant is operating in compliance with all applicable Federal, State and local environmental regulations and Corporate Environmental Standards.
• Provide expertise to facilitate sharing of good practices on compliance, water use, energy use, waste minimization, and wastewater treatment.
