Job summary

Ingredion in Belcamp, MD is seeking an Environmental, Health, Safety, Security & Sustainability Manager to lead site EHSS programs and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local requirements while advancing a proactive safety culture.

You will partner with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Human Resources and site leadership to drive continuous improvement, manage environmental permits and audits, investigate incidents, and champion sustainability initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in EHSS or related field.
• Experience leading EHSS and/or manufacturing operations.
• Knowledge of EHSS regulations, programs, standards, and management systems.
• Experience managing environmental permits, compliance reporting, audits, inspections, and regulatory agency interactions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve site EHSS programs to comply with laws and company policies.
• Promote an interdependent safety culture through engagement and training.
• Manage environmental permits, emissions, reporting, and sustainability metrics.
• Lead audits, inspections, incident investigations, and root-cause analyses.
• Chair Joint Plant Safety Committee and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Oversee plant security programs and site access control.
• Partner with Operations, Engineering, Quality, HR and leadership to improve EHSS.
• Benchmark best practices and implement innovative safety and sustainability solutions.
