Job summary

Grant Thornton is seeking an experienced Process Risk Associate to help clients understand and address business risks within our Risk, Compliance & Controls Practice. From day one you’ll be supported by a collaborative team to deliver proactive and responsive risk services across client engagements.

You’ll review processes, assess SOX and internal controls, and work closely with client management to gather information, deliver solutions, and maintain high client service standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance/IT/MIS or related field required.
• Minimum 1 year of related work experience servicing cross-industry clients at a national level.
• Desire to pursue CPA, CISA, CISSP, CIA or CISM license.
• Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 experience preferred.
• Experience performing financial, operational, and system audits and reviews.
• Ability to manage multiple engagements and priorities in a growing team.
• Knowledge of audit-preparation software and impact of technology.
• Excellent client service, communication, analytical, organizational and project management skills.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities
