Dow Inc. in Orange, Texas seeks an Operator to safely and reliably run assigned plant areas, monitor process conditions, manage equipment, and respond to unplanned events with the shift team to protect people and the environment.

This role requires working a 12-hour shift, following operating discipline, performing routine and corrective tasks, and mentoring teammates while advancing process improvements and Dow's commitment to safe, sustainable operations.

Qualifikationen

• 2+ years of experience in an Operations role within a Chemical Manufacturing environment.
• Military experience with 3+ years considered in lieu of a degree.
• Willingness to work a 12-hour shift schedule and overtime, including holidays and weekends.
• Must have valid US Driver's License.
• U.S. work authorization; no visa sponsorship available.

Aufgaben

• Follow operating discipline to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant operation.
• Operate process equipment, monitor conditions and control systems, and adjust as needed.
• Serve on-site Emergency Response Team (ERT) and complete required training.
• Conduct shift relief and ensure clear handoff to incoming team.
• Identify performance improvements and participate in change management processes.
• Maintain qualifications and complete training goals in a timely manner.
• Mentor and train operations personnel on procedures and troubleshooting.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled operational tasks as needed.
• Respond to Severe Weather and Immediate Response activities as assigned.
