Dow has an exciting Operator role based in Texas, where you will use operations knowledge to safely and reliably run plant areas. You will work with a shift team to anticipate and resolve issues, escalating when needed to ensure continuous production and safe conditions.

The role requires a 12-hour shift schedule, willingness to work overtime (including holidays and weekends), and a valid US driver’s license.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of experience in an Operations role within a Chemical Manufacturing environment.
• Dow will consider those with 3+ years of relevant military experience in lieu of a degree.
• Must be able to work 12-hour shift schedule and overtime, including Holidays and Weekends.
• Must have valid US Driver's License.
• U.S. work authorization; no visa sponsorship available.

Aufgaben

• Follow operating discipline policies to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations.
• Operate process equipment by monitoring conditions, metrics, field equipment and control systems.
• Serve on site Emergency Response Team (ERT) and complete required training.
• Conduct effective shift relief and handoffs to arriving shift team.
• Identify improvements using facility processes and change management tools.
• Maintain qualifications and complete training goals in a timely manner.
• Mentor and train new operations personnel on process operation and troubleshooting.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled operational tasks as needed.
• Participate in Immediate Response/Severe Weather activities as assigned.
