Job summary

Rockline Industries, Inc. in Morristown, TN seeks an Engineer II to provide manufacturing support, improve processes, and lead equipment projects. You will apply mechanical design principles to sanitary production lines and drive efficiency with data-driven methods.

You will develop training materials, support commercial trials, and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams to meet customer and business requirements.

Qualifications

• BSME or equivalent with 2 years Process/Mechanical Engineering experience; alternatively six years with no degree.
• AutoCAD 2D required; Inventor experience a plus; proficient with MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• Strong analytical skills; well organized to handle multiple projects.
• Experience with SPC, Process Capability, and data-driven problem solving.
• Experience with team-based problem solving and process resolution.

Responsibilities

• Provides daily manufacturing support to analyze and resolve process issues related to equipment, product quality, and productivity.
• Assists with development of machine centerlines and good run settings.
• Participates in projects including continuous or process improvement, equipment modifications, and installation.
• Coordinates fabrication, operation, installation, and repair of equipment and processes.
• Provides technical support for the commercialization of new products, processes, or systems.
• Leads and participates in continuous improvement with respect to safety, quality, productivity, and cost.
