Job summary

You will develop mechanical knowledge, assist with project coordination, and apply engineering principles to improve process capability, waste reduction, and product quality across lines. A BS degree in engineering or equivalent experience is required, with strong communication and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• BSME or equivalent with 2 years process/mechanical engineering experience, or 6 years of related experience in lieu of degree.
• Must have working knowledge of AutoCAD 2D; 3D/Inventor is a plus; proficient with MS Office and Project.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in writing and speaking.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Experience with SPC, process capability, and data-driven problem solving.
• Experience with team-based problem solving and process resolution.

Responsibilities

• Provide safety and regulatory compliance support for manufacturing operations.
• Develop expertise in Facilities equipment and processes to support manufacturing goals.
• Assist with mechanical training of technicians and resources.
• Provide technical design input for components, equipment, and processes.
• Deliver daily manufacturing support to analyze and resolve process issues.
• Coordinate project work, including continuous improvement and equipment installations.
• Support commercialization trials and identify cost savings opportunities.
• Collaborate with purchasing for equipment specifications and vendor issues.
