Job summary

Rockline Industries in Morristown, TN seeks an electrical engineer to ensure sanitary process conformity and to design electrical components and equipment. The role supports process development, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement across safety, quality, and cost objectives.

The candidate will work on new and existing processes, assist with equipment installation, and contribute to training materials and adult learning initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or equivalent education with 1–2 years of experience; or equivalent demonstrable skills and aptitude with five (5) years of relevant experience.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Working knowledge of AutoCad or comparable electrical design software.
• Proficient computer skills including MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project.
• Demonstrate ability to effectively communicate utilizing written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
• Must be well organized with the ability to support and participate in multiple projects and tasks concurrently.
• Able to develop training materials and effectively train adult learners.

Responsibilities

• Develop expertise to ensure process conforms to sanitary standards and meet customer and business requirements.
• Develop expertise with respect to electrical design of components, equipment, and processes.
• Participate in activities to drive plant continuous improvement in safety, quality, cost and asset management.
• Assist with development and commercialization of new/existing processes and process improvements.
• Assist maintenance in troubleshooting manufacturing equipment.
• Coordinate electrical fabrication, operation, installation, and/or repair of equipment and processes.
• Provide specifications/requirements to Purchasing and realize cost savings with vendors.
• Demonstrate commitment to RRITE values.
