Job summary

Carpenter Technology is seeking a Process Planning Analyst II to translate customer orders into precise manufacturing line-ups, maintaining routings and quality plans in SAP S/4 HANA and/or Mainframe systems.

The role serves as a link between Commercial, Production, Planning, Quality, and Supply Chain to ensure accurate order execution and continuous improvement within a production-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with ERP systems and production orders/routings is preferred.
• Knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA strongly preferred.
• Excellent organizational and cross-functional collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer order requirements into accurate and cost-effective manufacturing line-ups for quoting and scheduling.
• Create and maintain master data, routings, and quality test plans in SAP S/4 HANA and/or Mainframe systems.
• Ensure accuracy and quality of production order data per internal standards and customer requirements.
• Manage backlog and data changes aligning with business priorities and service expectations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve data issues and communicate impact of changes.
• Support audits and regulatory compliance (SOX, ITAR).
• Provide backup for additional product lines and special projects.
