Job summary

Carpenter Technology Corporation is seeking a Process Planning Analyst II to translate customer order requirements into accurate and cost-effective manufacturing line-ups for quoting, scheduling, manufacturing, testing and certification. You will create and maintain master data, routings, and quality plans in SAP S/4 HANA and/or Mainframe systems.

The role requires a minimum of three years in manufacturing or planning, with ERP experience and strong data accuracy.

Qualifications

• Requires 3+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing or planning.
• Experience with ERP systems and routings is preferred.
• Strong data accuracy and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
• Knowledge of SOX and ITAR compliance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer order requirements into accurate, cost-effective manufacturing line-ups for quoting, scheduling, manufacturing, testing and certification.
• Create and maintain master data objects, production routings, and quality test/inspection plans in SAP S/4 HANA and Mainframe systems.
• Ensure accuracy, integrity and quality of production order data per internal standards and customer requirements.
• Manage backlog activities and data creation/change requests aligned with priorities and service expectations.
• Research, identify, and resolve conflicts in order requirements and master data with cross-functional teams.
• Support audit activities and maintain compliance with SOX, ITAR and other regulatory requirements.
• Provide backup support for additional product lines and planning areas.
