Job summary

Faremouth & Company is seeking a Production Scheduler to plan and coordinate production runs, create production orders, and collaborate with multiple departments to ensure smooth and continuous operations.

The role requires 2–4 years of experience in production scheduling in metal industries, strong Excel and SAP ERP skills, and meticulous data accuracy. You will monitor material availability, generate daily reports, and forecast demand to inform planning and improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 2–4 years’ experience in production scheduling and control activities in pipe/steel or heavy metal industries.
• Proven experience with Excel, SAP ERP (Production Planning Module), or similar platforms.
• Excellent data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.
• Data analysis and use of Excel formulas at an advanced level.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule production runs to ensure continuous operations.
• Create production orders under Sales/Stock orders and distribute to departments before starting planned production.
• Monitor raw material shortages and resolve quickly to avoid stoppages.
• Generate daily production reports including yield reports.
• Reconcile each production order to track pipes in system and physical yard.
• Physically verify vs. system SAP documents for finished pipes monthly to ensure 100% transparency.
• Analyze data from each production run and prepare charts/graphs.
• Forecast demand to support production planning.
