Job summary

Airbus Americas, Inc. invites a Process Performance Engineer to optimize industrial processes on the Mobile manufacturing floors for A320 and A220 lines.

You will partner with production teams to apply methods, tools and data analysis to reduce cycle times while maintaining safety and quality. This onsite role requires strong project management and workshop leadership, with experience in AVL2, EPIQA, SAP, and value stream mapping.

Qualifications

• Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of Airbus experience or relevant industry experience.
• Excellent MS Office/Google Suite application, as well as experience in analyzing data.
• High degree of flexibility and initiative.
• Knowledge of Airbus Planning Tools (AVL2, EPIQA).
• Understanding of the overall workflow across the Final Assembly Line

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance to Production teams to optimize the industrial process.
• Develop and maintain time studies, PERT/CPM diagrams, and line balancing for MSNs.
• Define the critical path and analyze capacities to improve throughput.
• Lead workshops/kaizens and train new team members.
• Serve as SME in the build process for multiple Business Units and participate in special projects.
