Job summary

Airbus is seeking a Process Performance Engineer II to support production teams at the Mobile, AL facility. You’ll optimize industrial processes, develop time studies, and lead continuous improvement initiatives to improve safety, cost, quality, and lead time.

You will use tools like AVL2, EPIQA, and SAP transactions, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and present findings to stakeholders. This role is 100% onsite in Mobile, AL and requires a degree in engineering with relevant experience.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering.
  • Bachelor’s degree with relevant experience in aerospace/manufacturing.
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical assistance to Production teams to optimize processes.
  • Produce PERT/GANTT diagrams and line balancing analyses.
  • Analyze capacities and workforce to meet production goals.
  • Lead time observations and time study activities.
  • Drive continuous improvement and kaizen initiatives.

Production Process Time Optimizer* Producing PERT/GANTT diagrams* Program Evaluation Review Techniques diagrams are developed to identify task dependencies.* Producing line balancing for each MSN.* combination of education and experience.* Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of Airbus experience or relevant industry experience.* Excellent MS Office/Google Suite application, as well as experience in analyzing data.* High degree of flexibility and initiative* Knowledge of the principles, practices, methods, and tools used in process performance engineering.* Knowledge of basic project management concepts.* Knowledge of Airbus Planning Tools (AVL2, EPIQA).* Understanding of the overall workflow across the Final Assembly Line* Capable of hosting and facilitating workshops/kaizens* Have the
