Job summary

Minerals Technologies Inc. (MTI) invites interested students to join as a Process & Manufacturing Support Engineering Intern in Canaan, CT.

The intern will help develop and maintain applications to control the manufacturing process and support initiatives to maximize equipment availability and reliability. Primary duties include troubleshooting, developing process diagrams and mass/energy balances, compiling design information, and contributing to new process development.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a relevant engineering degree.
• Strong analytical problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing control system documents and diagrams.
• Support process troubleshooting and optimization efforts.
• Compile design information and equipment specifications.
• Help identify technologies and unit operations for improvements.
• Support safety and lean initiatives (5S, Kaizen).
