Job summary

kdc/one is seeking a hands-on Process Optimization Engineer to enhance batch manufacturing, product transfer, CIP and utility systems. You will collaborate with Production, Maintenance and R&D to boost reliability and efficiency across cosmetic products from lotions to shampoos.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of manufacturing experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and experience with PLC-controlled equipment and automated batch systems. On-site role with potential after-hours support.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
5+ years manufacturing experience, cosmetics/personal care or batch processing preferred.
Hands-on with batch manufacturing, sanitary piping, CIP and utilities.
Experience with automated batch systems and PLC-controlled equipment.
Strong troubleshooting and root-cause problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Improve batch manufacturing vessels, pumps, piping, valves and product transfer systems.
Troubleshoot production issues and identify root causes to prevent recurrence.
Optimize CIP systems and RO water utilities.
Support PLC-controlled systems, batch recipes and process monitoring tools.
Read/update PFDs and P&IDs, SOPs, and work instructions.
Lead or support capital projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve safety, quality and efficiency.
