Job summary

Clear Destination Inc. seeks an Engineer - Process to support the development, scale-up and optimization of cosmetic manufacturing processes in our New Jersey facility.

You will lead technical execution of product introductions, tech transfers, pilot trials, and process troubleshooting to ensure safe, GMP-compliant production. The role requires hands-on experience in process engineering, strong data analysis, and the ability to collaborate with Quality, Production, and Engineering leadership to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemical/ mechanical/ industrial engineering or related field; or 5+ years manufacturing experience.
• Min 3 years manufacturing plant experience; cosmetics/personal care preferred.
• Experience in GMP-regulated environments preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to interpret specs and data.

Responsibilities

• Review product briefs to assess feasibility, equipment capability, capacity, and risks.
• Define CAPEX needs with Process Engineering Manager for new projects.
• Lead technical implementation of new product introductions and tech transfers.
• Execute and document customer technical transfers and ensure alignment with plant capabilities.
• Conduct pilot batches and line trials; collect data; write technical reports.
• Support scale-up from lab to production.
• Collaborate with Quality to maintain GMP-compliant specifications.
• Identify process variability and implement corrective actions with Production and Quality.
• Troubleshoot issues and drive data-driven improvements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement on yield, waste, labor, reliability.
• Maintain formula input systems and batch/ERP/MES procedures.
• Keep knowledge of equipment in assigned area; adhere to safety.
