Job summary

kdc/one in Groveport, Ohio, is seeking a Process Optimization Engineer to improve manufacturing performance, advance automation, and drive continuous improvement across batching, fluid transfer, CIP, and utility systems.

You will lead process controls optimization, manage projects from concept to completion, and collaborate with R&D to implement batching improvements that enhance product quality and efficiency. A bachelor’s in engineering and 5+ years in manufacturing are required.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
5+ years in a production/manufacturing environment; FDA-regulated experience preferred.
Experience with PLCs, especially Rockwell/Allen-Bradley.
Knowledge of CIP and high-purity water systems is a plus.
Strong analytical, design, calculation, and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

Optimize process controls and automation for raw material handling, batching, CIP, and fluid transfer.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives to boost efficiency and reduce costs.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control systems to maintain operations.
Partner with R&D to test and implement batching improvements for quality.
Manage engineering projects from concept through completion within scope and budget.
Develop and implement SOPs, and create PFDs and P&IDs.
