Job summary

KDC-ONE is seeking an Engineering Manager for the Acupac site to organize and measure activities within Engineering, Maintenance and Facilities to maximize safety, quality and productivity. You will manage projects through their lifecycle, apply Lean principles, lead maintenance programs, and drive NPI initiatives while owning site CapEx strategies and developing high-performing teams.

The role requires a BS in Engineering and a track record of 10+ years in engineering/maintenance, with 5+ years

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related field.
• Ten (10) years of experience in Engineering/Maintenance and at least five (5) years in a management/leadership role.
• At least five years in a manufacturing environment, preferably cosmetics or pharmaceutical, with high-speed and agile filling and packaging systems.
• Project Management (PMP or CPM) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages projects related to reliability, continuous improvement, equipment installation, validations, and new product development; provides technical support and mentorship at the floor level.
• Manages the delivery of projects through initiation to operation, ensuring on-time delivery within budget and meeting technical requirements.
• Drives Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement to improve safety, quality, OEE and cost targets; deploys maintenance strategies to maximize uptime.
• Establishes and maintains relationships with customers via communication of site equipment capabilities and NPI execution.
• Maintains ownership of the site CapEx strategy with budgeting and departmental execution.
• Leads and coaches Maintenance and Facilities teams to optimize safety, quality, productivity and cost.
